Battle Chasers - Garrison

I modeled this back in 2012 but with all of the hype around the new Battle Chasers I thought it might be a good time to resurface this work!

Personal Project - Part 2

So as it turns out my restless mind this evening led me to work on this little number some more. I Started this a couple of weeks ago, based on my hover bike/racing concepts, but work has been keeping me pretty busy lately so I haven't really had much of a chance to make progress on it. I haven't really modeled in Maya since college so I get pretty nostalgic about the program every time I use it. Shooting for a max of 5000 tri's so I can get some decent details added for the footpads, handlebars, console, and vents and things. Hopefully as things begin to slow down at work I'll be able to make some more progress on this guy.

A Personal Project

I had some spare time recently so I decided to try to get some ideas out of my head and on to a digital canvas. I love competitive games and I love all of the cool futuristic cartoons from the 80's so I took a stab at combining those two things and create some concepts based on a futuristic motorbike racing game. I really enjoyed sketching out different ideas for the bike. I haven't had the opportunity to design a lot of vehicles in my career, which is a shame because I really enjoy it, so this was a fun project for me. Designing the patterns on the racing gear was a lot of fun too. I am still working on this project so I hope to post some more images over time.

Minions Paradise

Absolutely Thrilled to finally announce the game I have been working on for the last year with an incredible team of people here at EA. This project has been a wild ride for all people involved, but it has been a blast to work on:

Visual Upgrades!

The last project I worked on before leaving Wahoo Studios was an upgrade to the visuals for “A World Of Keflings” on the Wii U. “Keflings” was released in 2010 on Xbox Live and was in great need of a visual revamp in order to appeal to new Wii U users. I lead a small team of 3 artists for this project and worked closely with a few engineers to achieve the desired final appearance.

The Brave Little Archer

Was watching Brave with my girls the other night before bed, as I was driving to work on Friday I was inspired to sketch up this little lady.

And to keep the trend going, here's a little step-by-step .gif:

Gettin Jiggy with it!

So I saw an article recently on MTV's website that Will Smith is talking about releasing a new record, and much like the P!NK study I did as well as the Ceelo Green, that was all it took to inspire me to take a stab at drawing up the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air himself Will Smith. I have always been a big Will Smith fan and I have always joked that if anyone ever played me in a movie I would want it to be him.

Here's the final piece:

And here's a cool step-by-step of my process (I love making these!)

Thanks for stopping by!
